In order to support students with education or other needs, several specialist teachers are employed.

Learning Support Teacher

The Support Teacher (Inclusive Education) works collaboratively with the members of the school community for the benefit of students.  Generally this occurs in three key areas- consultancy, student support and professional practice.

Guidance Primary Counsellor

In primary school educational psychology services are delivered to clusters of schools.  The Guidance Counsellor delivers direct services to schools providing consultancy on behaviour management, psycho-educational assessment and counselling and preventative initiatives.

English as a Second Language

An ESL teacher is employed when students attending the school have no English or not enough to make learning in the classroom meaningful.

St Agatha

Severe Afternoon Storms

The safest pickup for students during severe storms is via Crombie Street.  Students must have a raincoat in their bags each day and will be instructed to put them on when leaving. During building construction, students may be collected by a parent from class from 2:30pm.
